Long Legs is an independent, collaborative space based at a studio in Gowanus for artists to make and share work along with knowledge and resources. Long Legs is founded and conceptualized by Trevor Nathan (me).
Long Longs is my studio, and I decided to convert it into a free space to share with other artists. It is currently not dependent on outside funding or sales.
Through the Free Studio & Equipment Share, Long Legs will provide a shared work space in a studio for one artist for one month at a time. The application and more information can be found here.
Through the Curatorial Open Call, Long Legs is seeking show proposals that are experimental, non-sellable, or otherwise non-traditional. All visual mediums are accepted, with a focus on multimedia and multi-disciplinary works. The application and more information can be found here.
